                                                            Switzerland

Something about beauty

Switzerland is called the paradise of the earth in terms of beauty. In a word, the natural beauty of this country is extraordinary. Whose fascination is not possible to explain. Switzerland is a very rare country in terms of beauty. In no way is Switzerland comparable to any other country. Because the nature of this country is so beautiful that if someone comes here and spends a day, he will not want to go back. Moreover, for those who are really thirsty for travel, this country is a paradise in a word. Many poets and writers have written about this country. Greenery alone is not the only beauty of Switzerland, in fact Switzerland is a country of exceptional and diverse nature. Snowfall is a very common occurrence in this country, although it does not snow in all seasons. One of the attractions of Switzerland is the Alps. There is only snow and ice around this mountain. The snow-capped Alps are Switzerland's biggest attraction for visitors. Moreover, many tourists come to Switzerland just to climb to the top of the Alps. All in all, Switzerland is a very peace-loving country. And so this country is the most suitable for living. Switzerland is one of the safest and most peace-loving countries in the world.

In addition to the Alps, the glaciers, the Emerald Valley, and the glistening blue lakes add a new dimension to the tourist's mind and heart. Switzerland is the only country in the world whose incomparable beauty is called paradise for its incomparable beauty. Again, many people call it the earth's paradise. Covered in a blanket of ice, this country is beautifully arranged like a fairy tale with a green carpet. In this country of fictional fairy tales, there is everything except fairy tales. Wherever I look in the crowd of natural beauty of eye-catching nature, my eyes are lost somewhere. These unforgettable moments take tourists to the pinnacle of peace.

Geography of Switzerland

Although Switzerland may seem to belong to the continent of Europe, it does not actually belong to the continent of Europe. Because even though it is a country located in Europe, it is not a part of the European Union. A closer look at the map of the world reveals that Switzerland is part of the UAE. So Switzerland is not a EU - (European Union) but a country belonging to the UAE - (United Arab Emirates). Switzerland is a relatively small country. Its area is 41,285 sq km or 15,940 sq miles. This country is surrounded by land, meaning there is no sea around it. But inside the country there are many natural canals and lakes. The country is bordered by Germany to the north, Italy to the south, Austria and Liechtenstein to the east, and France to the west. The Alps cover a large part of this country. Switzerland has three very important natural regions. These are the Alps, the Jura Mountains, and the Swiss Plateau between the two highlands. Which is also known as Mittland. Monty Rosa is the highest mountain in the country.

In the southern part of the country, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, just 192 meters above sea level, there are rows of lush pine forests lined with green carpets. On the other hand, just 100 km away from there are a total of 48 snow-capped peaks more than 4,000 meters high. A large part of the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland is located here.

The topography of Switzerland is uneven. Somewhere high, somewhere low, somewhere snow-capped mountains, somewhere or a strange combination of blue lakes. All of these are just a few examples of the diverse nature here. How much more diversity of nature that goes hand in hand with each season in this country is actually beyond imagination. It is really difficult to understand that value without traveling to Switzerland. So the only way to experience that heavenly feeling of the kingdom of heaven is to travel to this country at least once for the purpose of knowing nature.

Administrative structure of Switzerland

The official name of Switzerland is the Swiss Confederation. In short, many people call it Swiss. The capital of Switzerland is located in Bern (a city in Switzerland). Although Bern is the capital of the country, most of the administrative work is done in Geneva. Because Geneva is the headquarters of many international organizations. And so Geneva is the center of global diplomacy and international organization. It is also the headquarters of several UN bodies, including the World Health Organization. This is why Geneva is considered to be the focal point of Switzerland's institutional activities. Although most of Switzerland's administrative work is done in Geneva, the country's judicial center is in the city of Lausanne. In fact, apart from the city of Geneva, administrative activities are conducted in almost every canton in Switzerland. Now many people naturally wonder what is Canton? Cantons are the administrative divisions of Switzerland, i.e. the cities in which administrative activities are carried out are called cantons. Switzerland has a total of 26 cantons. Geneva is one of the most important of these cantons. In addition to Geneva, there are many other cantons in Switzerland, where other important activities in Switzerland are conducted. All this in Switzerland 6 out of 26 cantons are half cantons.

Although these cantons are six half cantons, they are no less than full cantons in conducting institutional activities. In other words, half cantons also carry out activities like full cantons. Each of these 26 cantons was once a small independent state in the past. But later, in 1291, 26 small states or cantons of the region merged to form the Confederacy Helvetica to escape the Habsburg dynasty. Which is now the name of the Swiss Confederation (the official name of Switzerland).

Economy and politics of Switzerland

Switzerland is the country with the top economy. The richness of the economy of this country can be clearly understood by considering the standard of living of the people of this country. Tourism is a major supplier to a large part of Switzerland's economy. Surrounded by nature sanctuaries and snow-capped beauty, the country attracts a large number of tourists every year. And from this tourism reputation, the country supplies the largest part of its economy. So tourism is one of the most important sources of economic income in the country. The political system in Switzerland is also very stable. The country has always played a neutral role in various political conflicts. Moreover, due to its stable political system, this country is widely known all over the world. The political system of this country is so stable that there is no regular army for the security of this country. From this it is clear how much peace-loving Switzerland is. The term of the Council of Ministers of Switzerland is six years. That is, every six years a new cabinet of the country is formed. One of the most important features of the Swiss government is that it changes the state of the country on January 1 each year. The members of the Council of Ministers of the Swiss government take turns to serve as President each year. Moreover, the citizens of this country have the opportunity to participate directly in all state affairs. Such stability of the Swiss government's political system is considered to be one of the reasons for the country's peace-loving success.

The diversity of life in Switzerland

The total population of Switzerland is less than one crore. The people of Switzerland live a very expensive life. Many language speaking people live in this country. Most people in Switzerland speak German, French, Italian, and Romanian. However, some people also speak Spanish, Turkish and Portuguese. But officially, the official languages of the country are basically four, namely: French, German, Italian and Romanian. Although English is not included in the official language of Switzerland, the use of English in this country is increasing day by day. In fact, the greatest diversity of the people of this country is revealed in their language. Language differences vary from region to region. For example, most people in the Canton of Zurich speak German, while most people in the Canton of Geneva speak French. There is a lot to know and a lot to learn from this wonderful variety of linguistic differences. Institutional importance is given to the students of this country to learn some other languages besides their mother tongue. Which is a rare instance of institutional educational qualifications in the context of other countries. In this country, education is compulsory for everyone from 5 to 16 years of age. That is why 100% of the people of this country are educated. Moreover, Switzerland is a very expensive country in terms of quality of life. The standard of living of the people of this country is very good. The people of Switzerland live a very fancy life. One thing to note here is that Switzerland's most expensive canton (city) Zurich is the third most expensive city in the world. Moreover, according to the June 2020 survey, Switzerland has three cities in the list of the most livable cities in the world. Zurich is in second place, Geneva is in ninth place and Basel is in tenth place. And that is why so many people from different parts of the world come to live in this country because of such a luxurious lifestyle and advanced living system. However, it is very difficult to get citizenship in this country externally. It is so difficult to live legally or to get citizenship in this country that it is much easier to get American citizenship than that. Yet one-fourth of Switzerland's population is foreign. Most of these foreigners came from France, Germany, Italy and Portugal. Of these foreigners from different countries, only a small number of residents are granted citizenship on the basis of merit. But that is also rare again.

Apart from people of different languages, people of different religions also live in this country. Most people in Switzerland are Roman Catholic. Forty-five percent of the country's population is Roman Catholic. And the rest practice different scriptures. However, most of them are Muslims and traditional followers. Although Switzerland is a very peace-loving country, the biggest problem in this country is drug addiction. Many people in Switzerland are addicted to alcohol. Many people die every year in this country just because of alcohol. And that is why drug addiction is considered as one of the most important and one of the biggest problems in this country. One of the most amazing things about Switzerland is that it is legal to commit suicide. In order to commit suicide legally in this country, one has to apply by paying a certain fee officially. Moreover, people from all over the world come to Switzerland every year to commit suicide legally. These are basically called suicide tourists. This strange phenomenon of legitimate suicide is really rare.

Why is Switzerland famous?

Switzerland is famous for several reasons. Switzerland is very famous for chocolate and cheese. Switzerland has a lot of grazing land, so many cows and sheep are raised there. As a result, the farmers here are able to produce a lot of milk every year. And this milk is made from the famous cheese of Switzerland. In addition to chocolate and cheese, Swiss watches and trains have a worldwide reputation. The name of Switzerland comes in the beginning when we talk about the best watch and the most beautiful train. Switzerland is also very popular as a tourist destination. Switzerland is also famous for its scenic beauty of lush green carpeted pine forests.
