Warning:
Travel to Chhera Island is not completely safe. Because
the sea here is quite rough. Sometimes very large waves play in the rough seas
here. Many tourists hoping to visit the island fall prey to this huge wave. So
if you ever get caught in this wave, all you have to do is keep yourself as
stable as possible, that is, not move at all, and warn everyone around you
about this in advance. Moreover, the island has numerous sharp coral reefs. The
limbs can be cut off at any time. So be careful. In my opinion, it is better
not to travel to this island with small children or the elderly.
Don't endanger the environment by throwing garbage or
packets of chips here and there.
Some
history:
After much deliberation, as far as I know, someone is
saying that this island was first seen by the people in 1998. Some say that
people first found out about the island in the late 2000's. However, most of
the websites have mentioned the year 2000. Then gradually the island became a
place of interest. However, at first the administration did not allow travel to
the island to protect its natural diversity, but later allowed travel to the
island subject to certain rules and regulations.
Conclusion:
The main feature of Chheradwip is the unimaginable beauty
of solitude and silence. Surrounded by innumerable corals, seaweeds and unique
biodiversity, this uninhabited island survives.
